Partner extends partnership with Bezeq

01 May 2012

Israeli cellco Partner Communications has announced that it has inked a five-year agreement with local fixed line incumbent Bezeq, for the supply of transmission services for use in Partner’s mobile network.

The mobile network operator noted the deal replaces an earlier agreement between the parties dating back to 2008.

Partner said it considers the deal an additional part of the overall process of upgrading its cellular network, enhancing the network quality, increasing the browsing speed and the implementation of fourth generation services.

The cellco added the transmission services purchased from Bezeq should ensure it meets its transmission requirements at an improved cost during the five-year period.
